Working in Europe Work and Study in Ireland

This is an excellent opportunity for those who missed out on the Ireland Working Holiday quota, for those over 35 who are ineligible for any other visa of this type, or for citizens of countries that do not have a working holiday agreement.

There is no age limit; citizens of many countries without a working holiday agreement can apply; a high level of English is not required; it is affordable for what it offers; and it gives you the chance to work in Ireland!

REQUIREMENTS

-Be at least 18 years old

- Be a citizen of a country that does not require a visa to enter Ireland as a tourist.

-Be able to demonstrate financial solvency of EUR 3,000 in an account in your name or in cash

-Have an English course paid for

STUDY ENGLISH IN IRELAND

The course you are applying for is a 25-week English program at one of the best schools in Dublin.

All teachers hold a degree and an English language teaching qualification approved by ACELS. Many of them have taught not only in Ireland but also abroad, bringing a wealth of experience to the classroom that ensures your time will be both educational and enjoyable.

It doesn’t matter what your English level is because there are courses for everyone:

  • Beginner
  • Elementary
  • Pre-Intermediate
  • Intermediate
  • Upper Intermediate
  • Advanced

The General English course is accredited by TIE and Cambridge. The end-of-course exam is mandatory for all students requiring a visa in accordance with IRP (Irish Residence Permit) school rules and procedures. At the end of the course, each student will be ready to take an exam and will receive a certificate attesting to their level of English. The exams to be taken, depending on the level, are: TIE EXAM – CAMBRIDGE PET (B1), CAMBRIDGE FCE (B2), CAMBRIDGE CAE (C1)

WORKING IN IRELAND

By enrolling in a 25-week English course, you can obtain a student visa, which allows you to stay in the country and work for 33 weeks (just over 8 months)

The visa is obtained directly in Ireland. You enter the country as a tourist, so all countries that do not require a visa to enter Ireland can participate in the Work and Study program and work in Ireland: Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, among others.

To obtain the student visa, you must submit the following documents to the GNIB office in Dublin (everything is included in the program, except for proof of funds):

  • Passport valid for at least 1 year
  • Letter of enrollment from the school
  • Health insurance
  • Learner Protection
  • Bank statement (minimum deposit of €3,000) – you must have this money in an account in your name or in cash. If it is in an account in your name, you must show the debit card that allows you to access the funds.

The visa can be renewed two more times. The only requirement is that you attend 85% of your English classes.

WHAT THE PROGRAM INCLUDES

  • 25-week English course
  • 2 months of vacation (during which you can work full-time and save money) or travel.
  • 15 hours of classes per week
  • 1 week of shared-room accommodation
  • Health insurance
  • Student insurance
  • Airport transfer to accommodation
  • Personalized support in Spanish
  • SIM card for Irish cell phones
  • Final exam
  • Book and welcome kit

The price of the program, including all of the above, is EUR 2,700

You will need to pay for the visa once you arrive in Ireland, and it costs EUR 300
