This is not a Working Holiday visa but a seasonal visa.
In this post, we’ll cover everything you need to know to apply for a seasonal visa, find housing and work, and understand the cost of living, among other things.
To work anywhere in this country, you must have a permit that allows you to do so. You can apply for two types of visas:
- Temporary Resident Visa for more than 180 days: the minimum stay is 6 months, up to 4 years of residence in Mexico.
- Permanent resident visa: as the name implies, this allows you to stay for as long as you want—it can even be forever!
Whether you wish to apply for either of the visas mentioned above, you must process them before entering the country.
You can apply for them either at the Argentine Embassy or at any embassy that offers the appointment service provided by the Mexican Embassy.
You can leave and re-enter the country as many times as you like, but before leaving, you must go to immigration to fill out the immigration form, where an immigration officer will check your documentation and place a stamp on it indicating that you have temporary residency.
If you fail to do so, you will lose your visa.
