Visar is an initiative through which Spain facilitates work visas for 1,500 Argentines who are the children or grandchildren of Spanish nationals residing in Argentina. Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years old and must not hold dual citizenship. This opportunity is also open to foreigners residing in the country, provided they meet the criteria outlined above.
IMPORTANT: THE QUOTA FOR THIS YEAR IS NOW FULL; WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR TO SEE IF MORE SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE.
In this post, we provide all the information about this program.

To facilitate legal, orderly, and safe migration, Spain’s Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Social Security is launching a pilot project to grant visas for job seeking in our country to the children and grandchildren of Spanish citizens by origin who reside in Argentina and do not hold Spanish nationality.
The visas will be valid for three months and will allow eligible individuals to travel to Spain to seek employment, preferably in highly skilled professional roles, with a particular focus on the fields of computer engineering and information technology, science, finance, or marketing.
The Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Social Security will make an online form available on the website of the Consulate General of Labor, Migration, and Social Security in Argentina to apply for pre-registration in the program.
Those selected must apply for the visa at the Spanish Consulates in Argentina. Additionally, from the moment of selection, applicants may begin the job search process from Argentina and will have access to the services provided for this purpose by the Public Employment Service.
Once the employment contract is signed, selected individuals may, in accordance with Spanish law, bring their families to Spain and apply for Spanish citizenship. The status of being a child or grandchild of a person of Spanish origin will be verified in Spain upon completion of the procedure at the Immigration Office.
