The city of London was named the world’s best destination in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice awards.
Like all TripAdvisor awards, the selection of London was based on the reviews and comments of the thousands of users who visit the website.
To that end, the hotels, restaurants, and various attractions offered by each destination were taken into account.
Last year, London had taken second place, which this year is held by Paris. Rome comes in third. Additionally, surprisingly, and for the first time in a long time, New York fell out of the top 10.
